HRIA Women in Hire & Access program
The Women in Hire & Access Mentoring Program is the first of its kind in our industry. Launched at our National convention in May 2018, the program is designed to give women opportunities to develop their leadership skills, build confidence and pursue a successful career within our industry. There are also opportunities outside of the Mentoring Program for networking and development.
What to expect
The 2021 Mentoring Program will focus on building confidence and cater for the individual needs of each mentee, and for this reason places are limited to 20 mentees. The program will run over a 9-month period and consist of 5 face to face workshops running for approximately 4 hours each. Participants will be invited to attend networking events with the Young Professionals Network as well as attend additional Zoom ‘Master Class’ sessions and panel discussions. Successful applicants will be notified and matched to a mentor who is a leader in our industry and will be there to share their industry-specific knowledge, experience and skills, provide guidance and support, and help you achieve goals.
The Women in Hire & Access Mentoring Program provides an opportunity to develop new skills and expertise. By gaining access to independent and objective perspectives of industry leaders, you’ll build your confidence in dealing with colleagues, managers and others in the industry, improve your networking and communication skills, learn how to set goals, develop your resilience and speak the language of the business.
